Getting Help from Professionals
————————————————————————————————————————

It’s a rare forest owner who can do all that needs to be done without assistance from others. This section describes some of the professionals who can assist you. Special considerations apply to selecting the various types of professionals. Regardless of the professional, you must clearly communicate what you want them to do. Often, if you can walk with them in the woods you can better express your desire. They work for you and should accommodate your requests or help you understand other more suitable options you may not have considered. Problems or frustrations with services often happen because of poor communication, vague contracts, and too many assumptions.
