Threats to Regeneration
————————————————————————————————————————

Sometimes, even though the correct method of silviculture is chosen and used, it may be difficult to regenerate new trees. Other factors must be considered, like whether or not other non-desireable trees or plants are shading out the trees or seedlings that you want to grow. Other factors can also prevent you from being able to regenerate trees. When deer populations that are too high, tree seedlings may be eaten before they have a chance to grow, limiting the ability to grow new forests.
