Summary: Major Points from Submodule 3
- The economic impacts of invasive rangeland weeds can be immense and far-reaching, but are largely undocumented. These impacts can be difficult to assess however, studies are underway to try and determine monetary costs.
- Ecological impacts may be better understood, but much work still needs to be completed to understand these effects.
- Both economic and ecological impacts can vary greatly for specific invasive plants. Information on some selected western weeds is presented.
