  • Participation by all concerned parties is vital in the fight against western invasive plants. 

  • There are many local, state, and national organizations, both public and private, that welcome and encourage the contribution made by citizens. 

  • There are several steps you can take to make the most of your search for and participation in weed-related activities

  • Cooperative weed management areas (CWMAs), which are becoming increasingly popular and prevalent in the western U.S., are collaborative efforts that offer many opportunities for volunteering in weed control projects.
