Conservation Easements as an Estate Planning Tool
IntroductionPre-AssessmentDecision TreePost-AssessmentGlossary

How to navigate this website:

There are three primary components to this module: Pre-Assessment, Decision Tree and Post Assessment.

The Pre-Assessment is a questionnaire designed to determine your basic knowledge of conservation easements and estate planning. Answers to the questions will be provided after the post-assessment is taken. Answers to these questions are discussed in the decision tree component. Please do the pre-assessment before proceeding with the decision tree.

The Decision Tree is designed to help you determine if a conservation easement is appropriate for your specific circumstances and explains the tax consequences.

If you click on the History button in the Decision Tree you can look at which questions you have answered and what your answer was.

The Post-Assessment is a questionnaire designed for us to assess the impact of your learning while using the decision tree. Answers are provided after each question.

The Glossary can be accessed at anytime for clarification of terms and concepts used in the module.

To serve you best you will be required to work through Pre-Assessment, Decision Tree and Post-Assessment in that order.

If you want to go back to a previous question use the "Back Button" on your browser.
