Methods and Tools
There are several inventory/assessment methods available which can
help you determine the current condition of your riparian area and,
in some cases, even suggest what the potential of an area might
be. Understanding the information presented in the "Streams
and Watersheds" and "Functions and Conditions" sections
will be very helpful when using any method of inventorying or assessing
riparian areas.
One inventory/assessment
method specifically designed by ranchers - for ranchers - is the
"Stream Channel
and Riparian Area Monitoring Guide." The

assess your riparian areas.
