Eligibility
Prinicple investigators must be from an 1862 and
1890 land-grant institution and all funds/contracts will be administered
only through these same institutions.
All proposals are guided
by Federal (USDA) Guidelines and subject to all regulations therein.
Although an applicant may be eligible to compete for an award
based on its status as an eligible entity, other factors may exclude
an applicant from receiving Federal assistance under this program
(e.g., debarment and suspension, a determination of non-responsibility
based on the information submitted).
Should a member of the Advisory Board of the
National Web-based Learning Center for Private Forest and Range
Landowners or someone at their immediate institution submit a proposal
for a grant, special procedures will be followed. He or she will
not participate in the review of proposals for that region and
all due care will be taken to ensure there is no conflict of interest
in managing the grant process.
