Plant Identification and 12 Common Western Rangeland Weeds

Being able to identify desirable and undesirable plants is a key to weed control. This submodule will teach you about plant characteristics in general. It also provides descriptions and photographs of twelve common western weeds. Since this list is by no means comprehensive, this submodule also provides you with information on how to collect a sample of an unfamiliar plant you think might be an invasive weed; how to get help with identifying collected plant specimens; and links to the noxious weeds list for the western states.
