Wetland hydrology

Secondary indicators

oxidized root channels | water stained leaves | local soil survey data | FAC neutral test | others

Oxidized root channels within 12 inches
Oxidized rhizospheresmore information should be abundant within the upper 12 inches of the soil profile. This indicator should be used on a case-by-case basis and should be supported by other indicators. Caution should be used to be sure that oxidation is not a relic of past hydrology.
