Other Factors that can Affect Herbicide Choice and Effectiveness

• Terrain where herbicide is applied can affect efficiency of application
• Sprayer calibration (relating to rate of herbicide application)
• Knowledge of the operator; is the person well trained in using this herbicide to treat this weed?
• Type of water used to dilute herbicide. Hard water can decrease the solubility of some dry herbicides.
