Plant ID - Bobwhite Quail

Bobwhites eat primarily seeds, though sometimes the leafy portions of plants and fruits are consumed.  Plants that attract insects are also beneficial – insects comprise a major portion of the bobwhite’s diet during certain seasons of the year, and particularly for younger birds.
