Description:  Summer annual herb growing to 3 feet tall.  Entire plant is fuzzy.  Found mainly in the Southeast and southern Great Plains in dry soils and waste places. 

Wildlife value:  A choice food plant for mourning doves and bobwhites.  The oily seeds are valued by mourning doves.
